1940's Airline Radio made by Belmont
This is 1940's Airline Standard Broadcast AM radio. I do not know the model number
of this radio. This radio was sold by Montgomery Ward and was made by Belmont
(Belmont made many radios for Montgomery Ward). Ths knob on the front is the
on/off switch and volume. The tuning knob is on the side. The dial
is back lit and the pointer shows through a slit below the station numbers. This
radio has 5 pushbuttons on the front below the dial where one can preset favorite
stations. The chassis must be removed from the radio to preset the stations.
The stations are preset by moving a cam on a shaft. This radio works well.
