This is a salt-water fish commonly called a False Abacore. My father and I caught this while deep sea fishing off the coast of North Carolina when I was about 12 years old. The fish grabbed my father's line and the ship captain grabbed the rod and reel and gave it to me to reel him in. After I tired, my father and the captain reeled the fish in. We had the fish preserved because it is so colorful.
