This is a Heathkit Sineware-squarewave audio generator I built. The generator will produce sine and square wave signals from 1 Hz to 100kHz. The big feature of this generator was its low distortion. Because of that, we used it at the radio station I worked at to run performance tests on the transmitter. Below is are specifications of the IG-18 generator from the 1970 Heathkit catalog.
