1940's IIT/Lyrix Radio (Kit?)
This is 1940's Radio. It has IIT on the dial but it is similar to radios made
by Lyrix. This radio appears to be a kit based on what I discovered when I looked
inside. Poor soldering was noted and one wire of one of the IF cans was pinched
between the can cover and the chassis. The radio also has a bad chemical smell
inside that has been impossible to remove. The radio works, but it has a squeel
at various places when tuning. It also motorboats at the lower part of the band.
The radio is also missing the plastic back that is on the Lyrix brand radios.
I have not yet gotten this radio to perform properly.
