1940's RCA 45X1 (Little Nipper)
This is an RCA Model 45X1 Standard Broadcast AM radio. This radio is often
referred to as the "Little Nipper" named after the dog (and Victrola) symbol used
by RCA for many years. This radio is quite small measuring only 8.5 inches wide.
When received, this radio had bad 35Z5 rectifier, a bad filter cap,
and it was very dusty. The radio plays well now. I also have the another copy
of this radio; however that radio was made in Canada and is a little different
in appearance from this one.
