1940's RCA Radio with Nipper Dog on dial
This is an RCA Standard Broadcast AM radio. This radio is somewhat unique in that
it has the RCA dog "Nipper" listening to the old Victrola with the phrase "his Master's Voice"
printed below. The radio has the same chassis as the Radiola that I also have. When recieved,
this radio had a 12SF7 in place of the 12SK7; it had a 12SK7
in place of the 12SA7; it had a bad 35Z5; and it had a bad filter capacitor. The radio plays
well now. The dial lens is in good shape. There is a glare in the photograph that makes
it look wrinkled.
